Best of luck Nick, we might not always see eye to eye on certain topics of debate but I've always respected the way you've gone about your business, you've been a credit to the Moderating team on Shearer and wish you the best of luck on Toms, not that you'll need it.
Kind RegardsPaul

Hi Everyone

This will possibly be my last official mail to the SFA Members in Shearer

I will be keeping my Inter Retirement side in here but from later this week/early next i will be Joining Toms as part of its Mod Team.I will continue to play in here but on a somewhat casual basis. So no asking for any of my players as i am keeping them all

Thanks for all your efforts in making my experience in here very enjoyable over the last few months, I hope you have enjoyed it as much as i have.I have made plenty of friends whilst in here & will be sorry to miss out on some of the banter that we exchange. My last thing i need us to do is WIN a major uffa competition, I am looking at George, Jak & Robert you know what we expect

I do leave you in very capable hands in Andy & Rob & with the rest of the F.A.'s support these to can get even better,So i do hope you do all get behind them & continue the success that i feel the SFA is
Also last week Stewart started contributing to the SFA blog (link is on the FA profile page) so if any of you have match reports, interesting stories or are just prepared to help him out i think all would be accepted

Thanks you have been great Nick

busy times

So season 4 finished, My worst finish in the sfa prem to date, not in a senior uffa comp but not to worry, It gives me something to strive for in season 5. sold off most of my u21/19 players just left myself with the ones who i feel could make the 1st team in future seasons. Zezinho already is a 1st team regular at 19 & think he will be fantastic in a few more seasons, Kaladze is a regular from the bench with the other 4 subs at best. Its possibly a season early to push them on.

Ive built a very good squad of u17s & with these playing regular football at u21/u20/u19/u18/u17 levels in the sfa comps theres a few coming on very quickly. Johan Nilsson has jumped up to 65k aq fee already & his stats are coming along nicely as well. I'm hoping to take this squad right through to my seniors but that depends how well they progress.

Signed 5 new senior players during the pre season wage wars which i feel have really strengthened my side & are so far doing well in season 5. Ive started a 3 tier ospitalita stand as i was only just making money & when this is built & full of seats i can bring in roughly 200k from my stadium income added this with my media money & prize money i should be cash rich before the end of may.

The blog name has spawned its own team. Almost retired made an appearance in gw Keane & having only played 8 league games currently remain unbeaten in the nfa fa's division 1, Having listened quite a lot to Jakswan about starting out in a existing gw i have tried to keep my wages small. So i had a plan & stuck to it, I took my time building my initial squad trying to sign players between 26 & 30 & with a min rep rating of 3* whilst also trying to keep the wages low. 16 signed up for total wages of 65k job done or so you would think (LOL). It was wage wars in Keane after all, But for every player brought in i have shifted 1 of my initial squad out . I go into the season with a daily wage bill of 70k. I had been concentrating my skill time on infrastructure skills as my next step once the season started was to build a stadium that would allow me to compete within a season or 2, So i start work on a 2 tier aziendale stand & add everything other than the corporate boxes,I'm now only making a few k per day but as this is a long term game im sure to reap the reward in the future. My next step well that's for a future update :)
